My work explores silhouette portraiture through a fusion of abstract visual language and intentional storytelling, inspired by the idea of perception and personal interpretation. Each piece is created to hold space for both guided meaning and open reflection, allowing viewers to connect with the work in their own way.
Through this process, I aim to create portraits that are both personal and universal inviting emotion, memory, and identity to surface through color, shape, and contrast. The result is artwork that encourages viewers to reflect not only on the subject, but also on their own experiences and perspectives.
At its core, my practice is rooted in connection. I use art as a way to engage community, spark dialogue, and create shared moments of reflection through visual storytelling.
