Celebrating Freedom & Creativity: Juneteenth at The Center

Being a vendor for Juneteenth at The Center has been an honor and a meaningful experience since 2023. Each year, I join this powerful celebration of freedom, history, and creativity, surrounded by a community that uplifts voices of strength, resilience, and pride.

Through GZFotografias LLC, I showcase my silhouette portraits, murals and art products inspired by empowerment, heritage, and unity. The event is more than just a market it’s a gathering that celebrates Black culture, honors ancestors, and supports the LGBTQ+ community through art, love, and collective expression.

It’s a day to celebrate and remember to honor those who fought for freedom, equality, and representation, while embracing the beauty of diversity that continues to shape our communities. Each year, I feel proud to stand among artists, activists, and allies who share in this mission of love and liberation.

Participating in Juneteenth at The Center reminds me why I create: to uplift, inspire, and connect people through color, culture, and stories that empower us all.
